One hour of coding: the Kickbots training
A one-hour coding activity: students finish the five training levels on their own, with no accounts and nothing to install, and end with a team that passes and scores.
You need: a device per student or pair, a screen for the class, and the link kickbots.reach500.com
Learning goals
- Tell an event from an action.
- Use an “if … else” condition with a number comparison.
- Split a team plan into roles: keeper, defenders and attackers.
Lesson steps
- 5 min Students open kickbots.reach500.com and choose “Play on my own”. No accounts, nothing to install.
- 10 min Level 1 together on the class screen: read the two cards, put in “kick to their goal”, then play the match.
- 35 min Each student does levels 2 to 5 at their own pace. After a loss “Show me how” appears, and after two “Do it for me”, so nobody gets stuck. Fast finishers publish their team or play the Elite 10.
- 10 min Wrap-up: who reached level 5? Which block changed your match the most? Why?

How you know they learned it
The student explains what one of their blocks does in a match, and when it runs.
